Now this is what I consider Christmas morning. Isn’t it beautiful?

Simone Legno of tokidoki has created Mini Karl, a 10” vinyl edition of legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld (Chanel, Fendi) in his signature black outfit featuring items from his K Karl Lagerfeld Collection. This high-profile toys meets fashion crossover is limited to 1000 pieces and will be available for 129 euros ($190) @ tokidoki stores (Milan, New York, LA) and select retailers for the holiday season. It will debut at trendy spot Colette in October.
In a sense Karl Lagerfeld is now a tokidoki character in the guise of Mini Karl. As he says, “I am very flattered that I became a tokidoki, I always loved them and I am happy to be one of them”. Mini Karl will be featured on a line of t-shirts in Spring ‘10 [seen at WWDFashion].

One Hour of FML
By posting this, I understand I am basically announcing to the world my capacity of being a cluster-fuck, which is not a trait I am particularly proud of. On the bright side, things like this don’t happen too often, and for that, I am thankful.
How many times can one fuck-up withing a span of 60 minutes? Allow me to explain.
I headed out to meet with a friend to do a late night study session at the school library, and stopped by the studio on the way to hang out for a bit. And so begins my evening of idiotic “I don’t know my ass from my elbow and should probably be shot” chaos.
1. Prior to leaving the studio for the library, I realized I left my textbook at home, so I had to drive back. I figured I could also fill up on $40 of gas on my way to the library, and do so.
2. I arrived at the library only to find that I left the AC adapter for my laptop at the studio.
3. On my way to back to the studio, I am shocked to see that my gas light is still on. Didn’t I just fill up? Turns out I handed the attendant $40 cash, walked out, and forgot to pump the gas. In my defense, this may be a result of being so accustomed to paying for gas with plastic. During these times I’d only walk into the convenient store is to purchase items while the gas was pumping.
4. Upon retrieving the power chord from the studio, I rushed back to the gas station to see if there was anything I could do about this mishap. Unfortunately, the convenient store was closed, so I’ll have to try back tomorrow.
5. In fear of completely depleting my fuel supply, I drive over to the nearest gas station to re-up. Considering there is the possibility of getting the gas I paid for earlier but neglected to claim, I filled up with a measly $5.
6. On my way back to the library, the light turned back on.
The end.

Cafe au 2009
Wanna know what is terribly irritating? When you walk into a coffee shop with your laptop expecting to get some work done, and the only seats you can find are just far enough away from an electrical outlet so that you cannot plug in. That’s not even the annoying part. Here’s what is: when people sans electronics sit at the tables by the electrical outlets. I am enraged when I notice that these people sitting by these unused outlets are just shooting the shit or reading a newspaper. I get the urge to hurl my Venti non-fat iced Latte at full-speed toward the backs of the heads of these selfish ignorant fucks. If these jerk-offs could be a little more considerate and offer their table to somebody who actually needed it, the world MIGHT be a better place. Because last time I checked, newspapers and face-to-face verbal communication did not require one to sit next to an electrical outlet and ignore its existence.
